Projects

R5 Center develops and implements systematic projects in the fields of disaster risk management, civil protection, and occupational safety — taking into account the operational specifics and risk environment of each organisation.

Our projects are grounded in local and international standards, the requirements of current legislation, and practical experience.

Evacuation Process Planning

R5 Center designs, drafts, and installs evacuation plans in full compliance with international standards and current regulations.

Plans are developed to ISO 23601:2020, ensuring clear, detailed and precise diagrams.

Evacuation routes and safety signage are designed in accordance with ISO 16069:2017 and ISO 7010. A complete guidance system is designed, including routes, signs and their placement logic.

Plans are printed on high-quality photoluminescent (self-illuminating) material, ensuring visibility in the absence of light or in smoke-filled environments.

Our Approach

Full compliance with international and/or local requirements

Precise drawing and positional orientation

Design solutions based on practical experience

Corridor wall with evacuation floor plan and illuminated exit, fire alarm, extinguisher, and first aid signs
ISO 23601 style escape plan poster for a bank floor with map, instructions, and legend
Photoluminescent bilingual escape plan sign for second floor with floor plan and emergency legend
Emergency safety signs for exit, fire alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid in a four-panel layout

Training Drills

R5 Center organises and delivers training drills in accordance with current Armenian legislative requirements and sectoral regulations.

Drills are implemented with complete documentation support, including orders, action plans, scenarios, observation forms, minutes and summary reports.

Our approach is based on scenario modelling, improving operational readiness, and involving different levels of management.

We organise the following drills:

Special Tactical Exercise

Providing and verifying the practical readiness of ERG groups and CP formations within defined scenarios.

Facility Drill

Testing the organisation's complete CP and ERG systems, including evacuation, communication, technical and safety operations.

Command Post Exercise

Simulating the decision-making process of the management block with scenario development and under time pressure.

Observer Mission

R5 Center also implements an observer mission for drills. Upon completion, a professional conclusion and a package of improvement recommendations is provided.

Personal Protective Equipment Management

R5 Center organises and coordinates the full process of providing employees with personal protective equipment (PPE), from risk assessment to monitoring practical application.

We implement:

PPE requirement calculation based on the nature and risks of the organisation's activities

Determining required types in accordance with current Armenian legislation and sectoral requirements

Training on correct wearing and application of protective equipment

Supply of PPE inventory and compliance monitoring

Storage condition planning and formation of an accounting system

Periodic monitoring and renewal planning

Our approach is based on forming a safety culture, ensuring not only the availability of equipment but its effective and correct use.

Worker wearing orange hard hat, face mask, and high-visibility safety vest
Person in full blue protective coverall suit with respirator mask and boots
Half-face respirators with filters and protective equipment on a work surface

"Heart-Safe City" Programme

The Heart Safe City programme aims to ensure timely and correct first aid in cases of sudden cardiac arrest, before the arrival of professional medical assistance.

The programme is implemented in cooperation with the Henar Charitable Foundation, the Yerevan Municipality and the Emergency Medical Service.

R5 Center's First Aid Team is one of the organisations implementing the training component of the programme, providing high-quality practical training.

Within the programme, participants acquire practical skills in:

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

Use of automated external defibrillator (AED)

After completing the training, participants receive a certificate and join the volunteer network through a special mobile application, ready to respond in emergency situations and assist in saving lives.

Training Conditions

Number of participants: up to 15

Duration: 3 hours

Format: fully practical

Participation: free of charge
